About Avortas

Avortas is a free set of online tools that let you discover how rare your name is, where your wealth ranks globally, what your personality type reveals, how unique your hobbies and lifestyle are, and what genetic traits your future children might inherit. Every tool on Avortas is free to use, requires no registration, and processes all data locally in your browser to ensure complete privacy.

Our Mission

It's actually kind of wild when you find out that your name is shared by fewer than 50,000 people worldwide, or that your combination of eye color, blood type, and handedness occurs in less than 1 percent of the global population, it provides a new perspective on your personal identity. We wanted to make that kind of self-discovery easy for anyone — no science degree needed, no signup, just pick your traits and see where you stand.

How Our Tools Work

Every calculator on Avortas is built with JavaScript and runs entirely in your web browser. When you enter information — your name, physical traits, salary, personality preferences, or parental genetics — the calculations happen on your device using algorithms coded into the page. No data is sent to our servers. The underlying data comes from reputable sources including the United Nations Population Division for demographic statistics, the Credit Suisse Global Wealth Report for wealth distribution data, the World Health Organization for health and lifestyle statistics, Statista for hobby and activity participation rates, peer-reviewed genetic research for trait heritability and inheritance patterns, and national census records for name frequency data. We regularly review and update our datasets to ensure accuracy.

What Avortas Offers

Our platform currently features seven personal rarity sections and a comprehensive baby genetics predictor. The Name Rarity Calculator checks your first and last name against a database of over 10,000 names with global population counts. The Wealth Percentile Calculator computes your global ranking based on net worth. The Personality Test determines your MBTI type and six additional personality tendencies. The Interests and Hobbies section shows how rare your favorite activities are. The Lifestyle Habits section compares your sleep, diet, exercise, languages, and travel to world averages. The Skills Self-Assessment lets you rate seven talent dimensions. The About You section covers IQ, EQ, beliefs, and life circumstances. The Baby Predictor Predictor estimates a future child's traits across six categories including eye color, talents, and health risks.

Transparency and Limitations

We are transparent about what Avortas is and what it is not. Our tools are designed for entertainment and general education. They provide simplified estimates based on population-level statistics and basic genetic models. They are not scientific instruments, medical devices, or diagnostic tools. Personality assessments are not clinically validated. Genetic predictions are not substitutes for genetic counseling. Wealth comparisons use published data that may not perfectly reflect every individual's circumstances. We clearly label all results as estimates and include disclaimers on every page. We encourage users to consult professionals for decisions related to health, finance, and family planning.

Privacy Commitment

Privacy is a core principle of Avortas. We designed our entire platform around a privacy-first architecture: all calculations happen in your browser, no personal data is collected or stored on our servers, and no user information is sold or shared with third parties. When you close the page, your data is gone forever. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that support the free operation of the site, and Google Analytics for anonymous aggregate traffic analysis. Both are standard, widely-used services. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Who We Are

Avortas is an independent web project built by a small team that likes turning boring statistics into things people actually want to play with. We are not affiliated with any government agency, university, medical institution, or financial organization. Our tools represent our independent effort to synthesize publicly available data into useful and entertaining applications. If you have ideas or feedback, check out our Contact page to get in touch.

Future Development

We keep adding new stuff based on what people ask for. Planned enhancements include expanded name databases covering more languages and cultures, additional genetic traits in the baby predictor, more countries in the wealth percentile calculator, and improved mobile experience. We are also exploring educational content that explains the science behind our calculations in more depth. If you have ideas for new features or improvements, we would love to hear from you.
