The calculator on this page takes the letters from each name, counting accented letters without their accents (so รฉ counts as e and รผ as u; case, spaces, digits and punctuation are ignored) and blends four measures into one percentage:
The blend is then scaled to a score between 45% and 99%. A result of 90% or more is labelled Soulmates, 80-89% Deeply Compatible, 68-79% Great Match, 55-67% Good Potential, and anything lower Opposites Attract. The same two names always give the same score, in either order.

Nothing shows that the letters in two names predict how well two people get along, and almost a third of the score here comes from the fixed number described above.
