Global Wealth Percentile Calculator — Where Do You Rank?

How does your wealth compare to the rest of the world? The Avortas Wealth Percentile Calculator provides an instant, data-driven answer. Enter your total net worth — savings, investments, property equity, and other assets minus debts — to see exactly where you fall in the global wealth distribution based on the Credit Suisse Global Wealth Report 2023.

How the Wealth Percentile Calculation Works

Global wealth is distributed unevenly. Roughly half of adults hold less than $10,000 in net worth. At $10,000, you surpass the global median. At $100,000, you enter the top 20 percent. Reaching $1,000,000 puts you in the top 1.1 percent — about 60 million adults worldwide. Our calculator uses an eleven-bracket piecewise interpolation model calibrated against Credit Suisse data, smoothly mapping any dollar amount to its corresponding global percentile. The brackets cover every range from under $100 to over $100 million.

Country-Specific Income and Tax Analysis

Select from over 20 countries to see your annual income, estimated tax burden, and effective tax rate. Each country's progressive tax brackets are modeled individually — from the US system (10% to 37%) to UAE's zero income tax. The tool converts between local currencies and provides instant comparisons, showing how your domestic economic position relates to your global standing.

Career and Education Context

View your wealth alongside career sector and education level data. Only 2 percent of the global population holds a doctorate, and 5 percent work in technology. These contextual statistics help frame your wealth within personal achievements and opportunities, painting a fuller economic picture.

Privacy and Interpretation

All calculations happen in your browser. No financial data is stored or transmitted. Your percentile appears as a bold number with "top X%" badges, progress bars, and contextual labels. Results are informative and grounding, helping you appreciate your position within global wealth distribution. For more analysis, explore name rarity, personality, or baby genetics.
